Now just so you know this was the first day I was supposed to be working on the blog. At first I was wrestling with what to talk about. I have a little piece about broadband municipalities that is still in the works, and will probably be relegated to the second post. Today is for the HTC View. I actually got my happy little mitts on it last weekend, and at first glance it seemed too small, and a bit too heavy for my liking. Then I hit the on button, a very small button located at the top of the tablet. Yes it was Gingerbread wrapped in the veneer of their Sense UI. And apart from being just a slight bit sluggish when you flipped around the sense UI it felt fairly robust and sensitive to the touch. I have to say, once I left the UI and was dealing with the Gingerbread a lone the speed picked up considerably. I even had a pretty good session of Angry Birds.
